Manik Concepts

The Mayan symbol for Manik is a hand holding the sun, and the Aztec symbol for Mazatl is a deer's head. Manik's energy is that of respect for life and the rhythm of life, being in harmony and balance, and cooperating with the Earth and nature. There is also an aspect of not only using the Earth's resources as tools, but of being a tool of the Earth itself. The deer is a karmic warning to manage resources wisely lest you exhaust them to the detriment of all.
